FRESH AND FEISTY
WINDFALL MULE
Occasionally it's the somewhat curious specimens which tumble onto the floor.
Like the windfall apples in Broken Clock Vodka's recipe, which we gather from under the orchard trees at Shandy Hall, North Yorkshire.
And this rather rare Windfall Mule is irrefutably worth rolling out of bed for — a fresh and feisty potion roused delectably by our awfully English vodka.
INGREDIENTS
- 40 ml Broken Clock Vodka
- 10 ml Fresh Lime Juice
- Top with English Ginger Beer
- 4 Apple Slices
- Splash of farmhouse cider
Garnish
- Dehydrated Apple Slice
- Sprig of mint
METHOD
For the Cocktail
Muddle the apple slices in a mixing glass. Add the Broken Clock, apple ice wine, lime juice and stir — without ice — and strain into a well-iced glass. Top-up with the Ginger Beer and just a splash of farmhouse cider.
